TWSE announced today that the securities net oversold position by foreign investors was NT$5.94 billion during the week of Aug. 31~Sep. 4, 2015. This represented the difference between NT$133.17 billion securities bought and NT$139.11 billion securities sold.
The accumulated net overbought position by foreign investors, during the period year to Sep. 4, 2015, was NT$ 51.17 billion. This represented the difference between NT$ 4,514.20 billion securities bought and NT$ 4,463.03 billion securities sold.
The market capitalization of the shareholdings of foreign investors was NT$8,824.48 billion as of Sep. 4, 2015, or 38.35% of the total market capitalization. This is lower (by NT$83.90 billion) than that a week ago.
The 3 securities that reported the highest overbought positions (thousand shares) by foreign investors during the week of Aug. 31~Sep. 4, 2015 were: INOTERA MEMORIES, INC. 45,895, HON HAI PRECISION IND. CO., LTD. 31,145, CHUNGHWA TELECOM CO., LTD. 21,619, respectively.
